● Salmon Alla Griglia: Fresh grilled salmon fillet in a lemon butter sauce served with vegetables and roasted potatoes.

Meet Officer Allison Adle of the San Mateo Police Department and her award-winning K-9 partner, Rookie - San Mateo Police Department’s first therapy dog, and the first in all of San Mateo County. 

Unlike traditional police dogs trained for detection or tracking, Rookie’s specialized role is  centered on emotional support, stress relief, and community outreach. He provides a comforting, calming presence for community members during difficult times, supports department wellness, and helps foster positive connections throughout our neighborhoods. To earn his uniform, Rookie underwent extensive formal therapy dog training programs and holds an official Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) certification making him a highly skilled K-9. Rookie is the recipient of the 2025 NASRO Safety and Support Companion Award for outstanding service in school safety and support.
